The Rijn, Maas, and Noord are the main rivers in the Netherlands, forming the heart of many ecological and economic systems. They provide us with clean drinking water, support biodiversity, and offer numerous recreational opportunities for both local residents and tourists. It is shocking to hear that these valuable areas are being affected by the illegal practices of the Romanian mafia.
The Carpathians, the majestic mountain range that stretches across various countries in Eastern Europe, is one of the last untouched forested areas in Europe. It not only provides timber and other valuable resources but also serves as habitat for rare plants and animals. Deforestation in this vulnerable ecosystem not only has negative impacts on local flora and fauna but also on the stability and resilience of the entire area.
The Romanian mafia is responsible for orchestrating these devastating practices. Operating in the shadows, they show no regard for laws and regulations, with their sole motivation being profit, regardless of the consequences.
